Rogue Invitational Day 1 is in the books, and what a day! I came in feeling strong, confident, and grateful to be back on the competition floor after time away. This recap breaks down each event, how I executed, what went right, where I fell short, and why I’m more motivated than ever heading into Day 2.

Event 1: 18" Deadlift — Opened at 1000lbs, hit 1050lbs with ease. Event win & massive mental victory.
Event 2: Viking Press — Hit 18 reps, strong execution, second-place finish.
Event 3: Yoke → Duck Walk → Power Stairs — Legs blew up late, finished 5th after pushing hard. Proud of the effort, even if points slipped.

Finishing Day 1 in 2nd overall, just 1.5 points behind Trey Mitchell. The battle continues tomorrow, overhead medley, hay bale push + arm over arm, and stones without tacky. I'm fired up and ready to go.
