In April 2001, archaeologists made a discovery in East Yorkshire that stunned experts: an Iron Age female chariot burial, that predated the legendary figure of Boudicca by 300 years.

As archaeologists studied her skull it was clear that she would have been very striking in appearance. Can anthropologist Caroline Wilkinson reconstruct what she may have looked like – and in turn, what might this tell us about her life?
