Travelling to Algeria is difficult 🇩🇿

Cycling The World - Ep. 38

In this episode of my journey to travel the world on a bicycle, I am sharing my failed attempt entering the country of Algeria. My plan to cross the land border at Taleb Larbi, the southernmost crossing between Tunisia and Algeria failed, as it is only possible to use this crossing if accompanied by an Algerian tour guide. Due to a lack of traveler reports I was unaware of this, and therefore turned back by the Algerian border guards. Now I will have to spend more time in Tunisia, and try again at another border crossing.
