IKEA Billy Bookcase Hack | DIY Library Built-Ins with Face Frame, Doors, & Picture Lights!

Transform your space and create your own home library with this stunning IKEA Billy bookcase hack! We upgraded the 15" walnut Billy bookcases into a custom built-in library that looks completely high-end. Starting with rough framing, we built a raised base, added spacers, and extended frames up to the ceiling. A face frame with inset detail trim, baseboards, and crown molding createsa custom feel. To complete the look, we painted everything in a dark, moody green and finished with custom doors featuring brass grilles at the bottom.
