How To Make Your Own Bow String Step By Step!

Welcome back to our traditional archery tutorials!
After the first tutorial on upgrading a budget bow, we’re continuing with a video on making your own Flemish bowstring.

In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through my preferred method for creating a Flemish twist bowstring, specifically on my Osage historical bow (53lbs @28). While there are various techniques for making Flemish strings, this is the method I’ve relied on over the years.

• BCY D97
• Cutting tools
• Wooden pegs
• Bowstring wax
• Serving jig
