To setup a company in Dubai or anywhere in UAE, a license is required to be obtained and renewed every year. Alternatively, a person may opt for a multi-year license.

The cost of the license differs from Emirate to Emirate and from freezone to freezone. The cost of setting up a company is much cheaper in Emirates like Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah as compared to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Apart from license fees, a Residence VISA and Emirates ID is also required to be obtained to be eligible to open a bank account anywhere in the UAE.
