This documentary chronicles a Dhutaṅga pilgrimage across the sacred lands of India and Nepal, undertaken by a foot-walking Saṅgha of more than 100 monks from Thailand, Vietnam, and the United States, passing through over 100 major and minor holy sites in retracing the Buddha’s footsteps.

The journey lasted 112 days, wandering from place to place to revisit the Buddha’s teachings, practice endurance, diligence, and patience, cultivate the pāramīs (perfections), and live a life of contentment with few desires.
