Woodturning - Huge Yew !!

In this woodturning video I take a fairly large Yew slab and turn an end grain natural edge bowl.. This was one of the most challenging pieces that I have turned. I made a jig for the bandsaw to get the rough shape, which worked really well, but the density and the wild edge meant my tools were dulling really fast and the inside took me a couple of days alone to turn, I finished it with Danish oil and as usual the character of the Yew never disappoints. I was pleased how it turned out even after a brutal few days .. Now I have to think of something to do with the offcut !!
