ABP Ananda LIVE : ভোট ঘোষণা হতেই দলবদলের হিড়িক দেখা গেছে। এদিন সাংবাদিক বৈঠক করে একঝাঁক মুখকে বিজেপিতে শামিল করে নেন শুভেন্দু। তার আগে তিনি বলেন, "দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনায় তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের অনেক নেতাই নির্ভরযোগ্য বিকল্প হিসাবে বিজেপিতে আসতে চেয়েছেন, চান। কেউ কেউ আমার সঙ্গে, কেউ কেউ সুকান্ত মজুমদারের সঙ্গে, কেউ কেউ বিপ্লব দেবের সঙ্গে, কেউ কেউ শমীক ভট্টাচার্যর সঙ্গে...অনেকেই অনেক স্তরে আলোচনা করেছেন। আমরা স্থানীয় সংগঠনের সঙ্গে পরামর্শ করে...যাদের স্থানীয় বিজেপি সংগঠনের সঙ্গে...সুস্থ রাজনৈতিক প্রতিযোগিতা থাকলেও চুরি-চামারি, ছাপ্পা ভোট, রিগিং, ভোট পরবর্তী হিংসায় বিজেপি কর্মীদের ওপর সন্ত্রাস এমন কোনও গুরুতর অভিযোগ যাদের নেই এবং বিশিষ্ট মানুষ, এর একসময় ১৯৯৮ সালে জোটে লড়াই করেছেন। সেই নেতৃত্বকে আমরা যোগদান করাচ্ছি।"
