INGREDIENTS:

2 lbs beef shank (or chuck roll, brisket)
2 - 3 carrots
1-2 tomatoes
2 lemon grass stalks
1 cinnamon stick, 3 star anises

For the seasoning:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp beef stew seasoning (or 5 spice powder)
1 tsp fish sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp minced shallot
1 tsp minced garlic
ground black pepper

serve with: bread or rice noodle, green onion, cilantro

NGUYÊN LIỆU:

1kg thịt bò gân
2 - 3 củ cà rốt
1-2 quả cà chua
2 nhánh sả
1 nhánh quế, 3 hoa hồi

Gia vị ướp thịt:
1 mcf muối
1 mcf đường
1 mcf gia vị bò kho (hoặc ngũ vị hương)
1 mcf nước mắm
1 mcf xì dầu
1 mcf hành tím bằm
1 mcf tỏi bằm
tiêu đen
hành lá, rau mùi (ngò)
