Victoria Beckham spoke out after son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham said he does not want to reconcile with his family and alleged that they tried to "ruin" his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham. “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be,” she told The Wall Street Journal in an interview published April 16. “And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.” Earlier this year, Brooklyn made it clear that a line has been drawn in the sand. As he previously declared, "I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life," the Cloud23 founder said in a Jan. 19 Instagram Story. "For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.
