My favourite 5 color limited palette combination is: quinacridone magenta (or alizarin crimson), cadmium yellow (either light or medium), ultramarine blue, burnt umber, and titanium white. These five colors offer incredible versatility.

My favourite palette for painting flowers is a split primary palette, with the following colors: quinacridone magenta, cadmium red medium, cadmium yellow medium, cadmium yellow light, phthalo blue (green shade), ultramarine blue (red shade), burnt umber and titanium white. This is also the palette that I use in my upcoming color mixing course.
