Times get Tough at the Farmhouse (not the chateau lifestyle I signed up for)

This week our abandoned farmhouse restoration in France runs into some renovation disasters:

1. no electricity. problematic.
2. pulling up old linoleum is gross.
3. an outdoor haircut interrupts our DIY momentum.
4. there does electricity come from?

Who knew home renovation would be so tough? Ok, everyone. BUT I had hoped there would be more cocktails in a historic chateau and less washing clothes in a bucket...
