CORRECTIONS
- A lot of people are rightfully pointing out that -2^x is ambiguous and a subset of those people are getting very angry I didn’t use more brackets. Look, we can cover all equations with brackets or we can accept sometime context is part of the equation. I agree this is a fairly egregious example, but because I think so much of the PEDMAS yelling is people upset not everyone uses the same conventions as their high school teacher (and I’m currently in a tired, above average sassy state) I’m going to leave it.
