A group of wealthy diners pays $1,250 per person for an exclusive culinary experience on a private island run by the legendary but reclusive Chef Julian Slowik. Among them are food critic Lillian, tech bros, a fading movie star, and regular customer Richard who brings Margot—a last-minute date substitution who immediately catches the chef's attention with her disinterest in the pretentious food.

As each meticulously crafted course arrives, the evening takes an increasingly sinister turn. Chef Slowik reveals his grand plan: everyone, including his staff, will die before the night ends. Each dish tells a story of revenge against the privileged guests who have corrupted his art and exploited workers like him. The chef recognizes that Margot doesn't belong—she's actually Erin, a sex worker hired by Richard after his girlfriend left him. When Slowik offers her a choice to join the staff or die with the customers, Margot chooses a third option: she orders a simple cheeseburger, reminding the chef of the joy that first drew him to cooking. As the other guests are served a deadly dessert, Margot escapes with her burger, watching the restaurant burn from a departing boat.
