My name's David. I earned a PhD in paleontology and I studied prehistoric life for a decade, taught at a few universities before leaving academia.

These days, I spend most of my time exploring lost ecosystems, reading the latest fossil discoveries, and-of course-creating videos about the incredible creatures that ruled our planet before humans ever existed.

Every Friday (and sometimes on Tuesday), I post a new video about life in prehistory. Some episodes dive into iconic dinosaurs and Ice Age beasts. Others reconstruct forgotten worlds, explain extinction events, or explore how we know what we know from bones and stones.

All my videos aim, in some small way, to make the prehistoric world feel alive again.
