It's hard to comprehend just how bad things have gotten in recent years, unless you're old enough to have actually lived through the decline of just about everything in the modern world.
But, it becomes glaringly obvious when you directly compare items from 50 years ago with their exact counterparts from today.
Here we have two consumer grade timing lights. A Sears Craftsman light in original packaging from 1975, and a no name unit purchased through Amazon In 2025.
Not only is the difference in quality of the actual tools profound, but it extends to the packaging and even literature provided with each.
