The Art of Efficiency: Building Science Meets Roof Exterior Insulation! #buildingscience #rockwool

We go all science and experimental mode in this episode. First we make use of a new product from Cladiator named Z-Girt.This product is very nice because it's thermally broken, meaning we don't lose any heat through it. It is also made of fiberglass, meaning it's very structurally strong. A final added benefit of it is that it's fire retardant/resistive. Meaning, it will not ignite.In the topic of fire, we are using Rockwool ComfortBoard 80 insulation, the main reasons for this are its fire retardant and vapor open properties.We did have a few learnings where we will adjust for future builds!
