With a game like Poker, if you bet the same amount on every hand, statistically speaking, you should lose over time as there are more bad hands than good ones. However, if you up the ante during your best hands, your chances of being positive in the long run increase. It’s my belief that this same concept applies to trading, as the best traders make most of their profits from a small fraction of their trades, as they are the best at recognizing when to scale up. In this video, Kyle and I talk about all things trade sizing, from how much to start with, how to scale up, and how to handle the mental roadblocks that come with it.
