Tangled: Live Action (2027) | Fan Trailer (Disney Concept)

She’s been locked away for eighteen years... but is the real world ready for the girl with seventy feet of golden hair? ☀️💇🏼‍♀️✨

I’ve been back in the lab scripting a vision for what a high-stakes, live-action Tangled would actually look like! Since the original 2010 film is such a vibrant masterpiece, I wanted to see if I could capture the "Golden Glow" of Rapunzel’s journey using a grounded, cinematic style—imagining Florence Pugh as our spirited lost princess.

In my "Golden Glow" concept, I’ve re-contextualized fairytale cinematography and character fragments to build a pitch that explores the escape from the tower and the discovery of the floating lanterns in a realistic world. I got deep into the edit to re-cook these fragments—blending custom VFX for the hair and my signature "Den" sound design!

The Pitch: This is a narrative "what-if" exploring a live-action reimagining of the 2010 hit, focusing on the breathtaking scale of the Kingdom of Corona and the emotional power of a dream.

The Yeti’s Edit: I’ve re-baked these fragments with custom visual effects (luminous hair-lighting and lantern-depth enhancements) and original soundscapes to build this vision from the ground up.

Transformative Storytelling: Every scene choice is scripted to honor the humor of Flynn Rider and the heart of Rapunzel while showing the "realistic" intensity of her first steps of freedom.
