Super Typhoon Tino Hits the Philippines: Cebu City Flooded, Cars and Homes Swept Away

A major disaster has struck the Philippines! Super Typhoon Tino slammed into the Visayas region with incredible force, causing extensive flooding in several areas, including Cebu City, which is now submerged in chest-deep water.

Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds have been pounding since early morning, sweeping away cars and destroying dozens of homes in flash floods. Power has been out in many areas, while thousands of residents have been evacuated to safer places.

Rescue teams and local authorities continue to battle through the torrential rain to evacuate residents still trapped in their homes. The Philippine government has declared a state of emergency in the affected areas.
