Southbound After Nordkapp – On the Road to Tromsø (EP 67)

After reaching Nordkapp – the northernmost rideable point of Europe – it was time to head south again.

I left the hotel and began my journey toward Tromsø. The ride took longer than expected (as always), and I ended up riding well into the night once again.

I originally planned to camp… but a quick look at Booking.com changed everything. I found a budget-friendly hostel in Tromsø for just €28 a night – and booked two nights on the spot.

So I spent a calm day in town, recharging, doing some editing, walking around – and accidentally stumbled across the northernmost McDonald’s in the world. Didn’t expect that.

Not every day has to be wild and dramatic – sometimes, it’s the little comforts that make a journey feel real.
