Today’s vlog is very close to our hearts.

We had always thought of going to receive blessings from His Holiness Sakya Gongma Rinpoche someday. But by grace and what felt truly miraculous, we got the opportunity to meet him at Span Resort.

For a long time, many people suggested that receiving an audience with His Holiness could bring spiritual strength and blessings for Pala.

We started our journey with hope. My husband carried Pala to the car, and together as a family, we made our way there. Due to entrance restrictions, only Ama, yangzom, and I were allowed inside first as we entered through the access meant for the elderly and ill. My husband had to wait outside, but after requesting, he was also allowed to join us.

During the audience, Ama and Pala shared about his illness. We were blessed by His Holiness, and we received a tungha and khata to wear and pala also received (Jha-phur)by His Holiness.

This day meant a lot to us — filled with faith, emotion, and hope.
