Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), Clearly Explained (Why it Matters)

In this video, we explained a solution to a common problem with AI – sometimes, when you ask it something specific, it makes up answers or gets things wrong. The two main ways to fix this problem are fine-tuning (which is complicated, slow, and expensive) and RAG (which is fast, cheap, and easy).

RAG works by helping the AI quickly pull the right information from your data (like documents or files) when you ask it a question. It doesn't require retraining the AI every time, so it can give you accurate answers based on the latest information you provide.
In simple terms, RAG is like having a super-smart assistant that can look up and use the right info from your files to answer questions, without needing to completely teach it every time. This makes AI a lot more useful, especially for personalized or specific questions.
