Quick and Easy Soffit Installation | Siding Tips and Tricks - project 120 part 9

Join us in this video as we tackle the installation of soffits for our latest project. We're tired of the unpredictable weather, so we're taking matters into our own hands. Adding closed soffits to a wall before lifting is very simple and can be very fast. Its also much safer. We use 16" SmartSide soffit. Once the eaves detail is drawn out, its just a matter of snapping a line and making sure the soffit is square to the wall.

Framing houses is fun, but to me its more fun when we can save ladder work. Safety isn't difficult to achieve, but often we just need to think ahead.
