President Donald Trump suggested the end of the Iran war may be in sight, telling FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo, "I think it’s close to over, yeah. I view it as very close to being over." U.S. forces continue to enforce the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz and according to early reports, no ships have made it through. "If I pulled up stakes right now, it would take them 20 years to rebuild that country. And we’re not finished. We’ll see what happens. I think they want to make a deal very badly," Trump recently said.

The White House released a study on Monday that found diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies hinder productivity by leading to inefficient management that undercuts economic growth. The authors of the report used federal data broken down by industry, state and year to track the representation of Black, Hispanic and indigenous people in management roles – though its analysis didn't cover gender, sexual orientation or Asian representation.

The tax filing deadline for 2025 tax returns is here, with taxpayers having until just before midnight on April 15 to file their returns or request an extension. According to tax experts speaking to Fox Business, last-minute tax filers will want to be systematic in ensuring they have everything they need to file their return accurately when they get started.
