Mímir is the ancient guardian of the Well of Wisdom beneath Yggdrasil, the World Tree. Renowned as the wisest being in Norse mythology, he possessed knowledge of the past, present, and fate itself. After being beheaded during the war between the Aesir and the Vanir, his head was preserved by Odin through powerful magic. From then on, Odin sought counsel from Mímir’s living head, which continued to whisper secrets of destiny and cosmic truth, even as Ragnarök approached.
