When a dozer blade breaks, the whole job grinds to a halt. We’ve got a John Deere 700J in the shop with a busted blade joint — a mess from a previous, shoddy repair. The loggers really did a number on this one, but we’re fixing it the right way this time. Watch as we:

Take the massive blade off the dozer to get a good look at the damage.
-Cut out the old, broken parts and grind it down clean.
-Weld in a brand new, heavy-duty ball and socket joint.
-Carefully pre-heat the metal to make sure the welds are strong and will last.
-Put it all back together with new pins and get it working smoothly again.
