‘Friends’ star Lisa Kudrow says modern sitcoms are too scared of making people uncomfortable these days. Speaking to Lily Tomlin for Interview Magazine, Kudrow says that modern, multi-camera sitcoms don’t appeal to her because they’re too afraid to make jokes that make people uncomfortable. Do you think modern sitcoms are playing it too safe? Or is comedy better now that the writers are more socially aware?
