L.A. Sanitation and Environments Biodiversity Program by Lily Carlson

The City of Los Angeles' biodiversity program, found within LA Sanitation and Environment (LASAN), strives to enhance biodiversity within Los Angeles. Through assessing the LA Biodiversity Index, creating LA's Local Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (LBSAP), promoting community science, supporting native plant landscaping, and implementing various other initiatives, the City works to protect LA's incredible native plants and biodiversity.
Lily Carlson is an Environmental Specialist for the City of Los Angeles. She leads LA Sanitation and Environment's Biodiversity and Healthy Soils Programs.
