Kelly Clarkson shared that after she won the first season of ‘American Idol’, she did not receive the prizes she was expecting, including $1 million and a car. In fact, while chatting with ‘The Traitors’ winner Rob Rausch and ‘Harry Potter’ star Daniel Radcliffe on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, the “Since U Been Gone” singer could relate “so hardcore” to the fact that Rob was still waiting to be paid his $220,800 prize from winning the reality competition. “You probably weren’t alive when I was on ‘American Idol’,” Kelly joked on the March 10 episode. “I literally was on the show, and they were like, ‘Oh, you win a million dollars’ or whatever. No, you didn’t. They lied. You did not. It was, like, a million dollars worth of investment in you." The 43-year-old added, “They said you get a car, and I needed it ‘cause my car was bashed in, and I couldn’t afford the deductible.
