James Hooks Welsh Language Journey

Welsh rugby international and former Ospreys, Neath, Perpignan and Gloucester outside half James Hook is joined by his mentor, Welsh Rugby Union, PRO14, Heineken Cup and former international rugby referee Nigel Owens on his journey to learn Welsh.

The pair visit Nigel Owens' farm in Carmarthenshire, before visiting a food bank in Llandeilo. Before arriving at Tenby, Pembrokeshire, the pair have an impromptu sing-song of a traditional Welsh song; Ar Lan Y Môr. The harbour brewery in Tenby is their next destination for a taste test on a number of different beers including a beer named after Welsh rugby hooker Ken Owens.

Aberavon Quins RFC brings back good memories for James as he completes a challenge with former Welsh rugby union and rugby league international Jonathan "Jiffy" Davies. The journey concludes on Aberavon beach with a gift from poet Eurig Salisbury.
