Israel continues to bar Muslims from Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Israeli authorities continued to prevent Muslims from performing Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem on 3 April. The mosque, the third-holiest site in Islam, has remained closed to worshippers since late February under alleged emergency measures linked to the war on Iran. Police also blocked Palestinians from praying on nearby streets.
