Indigenous Fighters Are the Way Forward, Says Ex-IAF Chief || BharatShakti Dialogues

Former IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal R.K.S. Bhadauria (Retd.) shares his roadmap for India's fighter jet future in an exclusive BharatShakti Dialogues discussion with Nitin A. Gokhale.

He explains why the LCA Tejas is the bedrock of indigenous capability, calls for shifting the proposed 97-aircraft order to LCA Mk-2, and stresses that the AMCA must be treated as a national project - led by the private sector but supported by DRDO and DPSUs.

Bhadauria firmly rules out importing 5th-generation jets, insisting that India must fast-track indigenous fighter development to stay ahead of regional threats.
