I spent two weeks exploring Miami’s South Beach, with a special focus on the iconic Ocean Drive. Before i left the UK i thought i was visiting the best area of Miami, but going off the online reviews, i might have made a mistake. It’s definitely not the cheapest area—drinks are pricey, food isn’t any cheaper, and hotels won’t do your wallet any favors either. It's not the safest area either, but is there any truth to these reviews, let’s find out!
