In This Episode, Sayu Rinpoche continues the exploration of Santiago Atitlán - a hub for the Tzʼutujil Mayan community along the shore of Lake Atitlán. As it was during Semana Santa - The Holy Week, Sayu got a chance to encounter a local Mayan God famous for smoking cigarettes, drinking alchohol, and answering all your prayers - Maximón (San Simón/Rilaj Maam). However, how to find the ever so mystical and legendary deity is not as straightforward as it appeared, and the final encounter also took unexpected turns...

Places visited in this episode:

- Lago Atitlán (Lake Atitlan): Central America's deepest lake that was formed as a result of volcanic activities. The lake is in front of 3 volcanoes: Atitlán, Toliman, and San Pedro.

- Iglesia Parroquial Santiago Apóstol (Saint James The Apostle Church) - Historic Catholic church originally founded in the 16th century. The church has figurines wearing clothes weaved by local women. The church was where American Catholic Priest Father Stanley Rother served until his murder in 1981.

- Capilla de Maximón/San Simón/Rilaj Maam/El Gran Abuelo (Chapel of Maximón):A chapel dedicated to the cigar smoking and alcohol drinking Mayan deity that changes its location every year during Semana Santa / The Easter Holy Week.

- Edificio de la Municipalidad de Santiago Atitlán (Santiago Atitlán City Hall): Where Maximón was displayed to the public during Semana Santa.
