Rifles - We’re using a Sako 85 chambered in 9.3x62mm and a Tikka Wild Boar in 308Win. Both loaded with Norma ammunition, which proved invaluable against these tough animals. The footage is raw and unscripted – you’ll see real outdoor action: creeping through swamps and scrub, battling the elements, and coming face-to-face with wild game that can turn the tables if you’re not careful. (Scrub bulls, in particular, are known to be aggressive and unpredictable, making them a true test of a hunter’s nerve.)

Trips like this don't begin without the generosity of many people. I have to give a huge shout out to the full crew at the Tipperary Group of Stations. Without the hunting access, this one wouldn't have even got off the ground. Tie that in with my great unnamed mate "Bucket", and a trip was hatched out over a few months of planning. All this hunting occurred on private land in the NT. Everything taken was a free-range, wild animal. Some of the shooting we did was purely pest control. The Water Buffalo and feral Scrub Bull are often a pest species too, but also a resource on many stations, depending on the export markets and demand. I'm very grateful we had the opportunities to hunt the animals we did. Meat from the animals shot was utilised for pet food (Croc farm) where practical to process and retrieve by an active commercial harvester (TC) working across the stations.
