How to Winterize a Camper with Antifreeze | Beginner-Friendly + FREE ✅ List

In this video, I’ll teach you exactly how to winterize a small camper step by step so you don’t miss a thing. You’ll see the tools to use, how to drain your water heater and low point drains, and how to run RV antifreeze through every fixture so your system is fully protected from freezing and breaking. This video was filmed on a 2019 Keystone Hideout LHS19, a smaller camper (19') with a simple plumbing system.

Update for clarification:
We mentioned in the video that RV antifreeze is non-toxic and not the same as car antifreeze. It will not poison your pet if a small amount is accidentally licked or spilled. However, that does not mean it is safe to drink or pour out anywhere. You should not let your animals drink it, and you should not dump it on the ground. A few splashes are fine, but when you are draining your system, always dispose of it properly at a campground sewer or dump station.
