Hey everyone, it’s Matt! Today, I’m going to show you how to change your country on Amazon Prime Video.

First, I’m logged into my Amazon account, and as you can see, I’m on the Prime Video page. To change our country or region, we need to head to the settings.

In the top right corner, you’ll see your profile picture. Just hover over that, and you’ll find the “Your Account” option at the bottom.

Click on “Account and Settings,” and you’ll see the familiar Amazon top bar. Now, we’re not looking to change the language here; we want to change the entire country or region.

So, hover over the “Hello” section—mine says “Hello Matthew”—and scroll down to find “Manage Your Content and Devices.” It’s a bit hidden, but it’s there! Once you click on that, you’ll land on the content screen, but we need to switch to “Preferences.” Click on that, and here’s where it gets a little tricky.

Look for “Country/Region Settings” on the right side. Click the downward arrow, and you’ll see your current country—mine is set to the UK.

Amazon will tell you that you’re currently linked to shop on Amazon.co.uk. If you want to know more about other Amazon sites you can shop on, you can click the link they provide.

Interestingly, I just noticed that I’m also eligible to shop on Amazon.com, the US site, which isn’t surprising since I’ve ordered from there before. If you want to change your region, just click on “Change.” You’ll need to update your address or add a new one.

Enter your name, which will likely stay the same unless you’ve changed it recently, and then fill in your new address. You’ll see the region option, and you can choose from a list of countries.

Just enter all your address info and hit “Update.” Amazon will then change your country and region for you. And that’s it!
