How Brig. Amadu Bangura was Executed for Attempted Coup after he was Exposed by Wife

March 29, 1971, Brigadier John Amadu Bangura along with 3 other senior military officers are executed by hanging for attempting to overthrow the tyrannical rule of Dr. Siaka Steven in Sierra Leone.
Three years earlier, Bangura had singlehandedly installed Steven as Prime Minister after a successful coup.
