Forked Run State Park, Ohio, Nevertheless, We Persisted! May 2025, Episode 68

Our camping trip to Forked Run State Park in Reedsville, Ohio, near the southeast tip of Ohio, along the Ohio River, from Monday, May 5th through Thursday, May 8th, 2025. This is one of Ohio's oldest state parks, evidenced by many very short sites, many with unlevel pads, originally designed for tent camping. There are some to be found for longer rigs, so be sure to read the site descriptons carefully.

We had high hopes for this trip, including discovering some ancestoral history in the area of Ohio that some of Joe's ancestors lived and died. And of course, we couldn't wait to do some good fishing in the beautiful lake, and perhaps in the Ohio River. Even though some things didn't go our way, we still enjoyed our time camping together, as always!
