Easiest Gold Medal Ever! (@olympics)

This woman won an Olympic gold medal by outsmarting her competitors. Because when this ice skating race started, normally they would start slowly to save energy for the later rounds. But Chinese skater Yang Jingru had other plans and started sprinting right out of the gate. And since no one else joined her sprint, thinking she was crazy for starting so early, she easily made her way back to the pack. And even though it might look like she’s in last place, she’s actually far ahead. When the bell rang to signal the last lap, everyone made a final push to secure victory. But what they didn’t realize was that it was only the last lap for Yang Jingru, who had already won the race with her clever tactics.
