DIY TRANSMISSION FLUSH and EXTERNAL COOLER on my 1968 CHEVELLE #diy

Somehow water and or coolant keeps getting into the transmission fluid in my 1968 Chevy Chevelle. It’s a Powerglide transmission and seems to still be working ok, so I need to fix this before and more damage is done. The transmission cooler is inside the radiator and I suspect that’s where the contamination is happening. So today I am going to drop the pan, change the filter, flush the whole transmission and bypass the factory cooler by adding an external transmission cooler. Fingers crossed this does the trick.
