Deep Green: A Green Building Documentary Featuring Peckham Architecture of Columbia, Missouri

Peckham Architecture designs buildings as energy efficient as science allows. Our LEED Platinum home headquarters is Missouri’s first Passive House Institute US (PHIUS) Certified building. This green building documentary shows how we achieved such extraordinary efficiency.

This fully accessible home features a 1,200-square-foot office and 2,500 square feet of living space, plus a garage and unheated 3-season porch. Our green building is net-positive, which means it produces more electricity than it consumes. The home includes the following green technologies: a photovoltaic system, super insulation, LED lighting, energy recovery ventilation, ductless mini split heating and cooling, an instant hot water heater, and Energy Star appliances.
