Calathea growing tips that might surprise you

I share some of the tips for growing calathea, maranta, stromanthe and ctenanthe that have worked for me.
Some of these might surprise you and might be controversial, but they have worked for me so I thought I would share.

These tips have meant I find caring for my calathea is now a breeze, very rarely do I find pests and no leaf tip browning 😊
