In this video, I build a large elevated survival shelter deep in the old-growth forest, right beside a waterfall and between two ancient trees. Using natural materials from the forest such as bamboo and timber, I create a safe and comfortable living space above the ground, away from potential dangers below.
The two trees are connected with strong bamboo poles to form a wide elevated platform. One side of the platform is designed as a sleeping shelter, while the other side is used as a fire kitchen and cooking area with a bamboo kitchen table.
At the center of the platform is an open living space for daily activities, surrounded by protective railings for safety.
An inclined ladder with handrails connects the shelter to the ground, making access safe and practical. This elevated design helps avoid wild animals, insects, moisture, and other ground-level risks while allowing a peaceful life close to nature.
This project is about living in harmony with the forest, respecting nature, and building a functional survival shelter using traditional skills and natural resources.
