The 2026 Golden Globes have wrapped, with comedian Nikki Glaser hosting a lively awards - but one that was surprisingly low on political messages from the celebs present.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another had a very good night, winning awards including Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy, Best Director and Best Screenplay.

But the film acting award winners were spread evenly across six films, with an Aussie star, a visibly shocked Rose Byrne, among those who picked up a trophy.

On the television side of the nominations, chilling Netflix miniseries picked up four of its five awards, but The White Lotus went home empty handed despite getting the most noaminations of the night.
