convereged–a prismatic display
of unity.

I opened my eyes to reality,
an almost rude awakening,
yet I welcomed it with a sigh of relief.
Somewhere deep inside me,
The dream burned on,
as life resumed its rhythm.

I jolted upright, sweat dripping,
cushioned by an unfamiliar cot
In a stranger’s home.
