Amazon is ending its "Prime Invitee" program on October 1, 2025, replacing it with the "Amazon Family" program, which restricts sharing benefits to within the same household. Amazon is offering a discounted one-year Prime membership for affected "invitees" who sign up by December 31, 2025, to encourage them to get their own accounts. The new Amazon Family program allows members to share benefits with one other adult and up to four children at the same household address.
