6000 HOURS LATER! Chinese Diesel Heater Service

6000 run hours later, my cheap but faithful Chinese diesel heater has kept me warm and hot on some extreme Arctic overland winter vanlife adventures in my self-built camper. After replacing the failing motor bearings and rusted exhaust. It’s Time for its removal and a service, as I’m putting a new heater in as the van is for sale. I do a 6000-hour strip down of the heater and find it clean with no real soot in the burn chamber. It’s interesting to see how the quality has changed over the years and how important a good install is as well as good quality heater. I replaced my original heater controller with an Afterburner.
